*Featured Reader’s November Obsession!*
Amy is my featured reader this month!
Her obsession this November was her thankful tree!
“I wanted to spend more than thanksgiving dinner going around the table thinking of something to say you're thankful for. So I made it last longer and invited everyone that came to my home to join in...I left the leaves out prepared for writing for the few weeks I had the tree up and the kids added to it more than just the original day. So it was kind of special.”
I was also ob-sessed with Amy's photoshoot!! (her blog post will be coming *soon*!!!)
My AMAZING Queen Mother Nature photoshoot! (blog post for this coming even sooner!)
I had the epiphany this month that people will come into your life, you will get very very close to them. You will feel like you can’t imagine not telling them about your life. You will feel like you can’t ever work without them next to you to laugh with to pass the time at your job. And then one day, you won’t have them anymore, no matter how much you fight. You can go kicking and screaming. But, it will happen most times. Either you grew apart, you changed jobs, you took different paths in life, or you just lost touch. Either way, life happens and sometimes. And that was a horrible and heart-breaking thing for a girl who loves to love people and loves being around people to realize. It truly broke my heart the night I realized this. (I cried.)
I read this article only hours after crying about the previous point and felt in sync with a human I had never met. But, my one question is; was this really EVERYTHING she cried about in one year??? I cried three times the day I cried about lost friends. THREE. In one day. I cry a lot. I feel feelings deeply and often. This can’t have been the only times she cried in a year!
Food. I always love food. But this month I realized how much it means to me. I am sort of a snob about food. Food is another way I express myself and I feel that food should make you feel things. Cooking ALWAYS makes me feel things. When I cook I am happy and I cook based on feeling.
An incredible session with Mrs. P! The bubble bath. It got me way too excited!!! I think it is one of the sexiest things I have ever photographed! If you want a bubble bath session, contact me!
Our family was in town Thanksgiving week! And it was the best! I love them and miss them SO much!!!
Um, Thanksgiving, of course! Food is happy and I love eating it. I also enjoyed playing games with family and being able to be with family. Quietly, without any rush to get back home and work or anything. Just, sitting and enjoying family. I was thankful!
And now, Christmas music, Christmas decorating, advent! Christmas is one of my favorite seasons!!! I don't think I can say that enough!!!
And last, but CERTAINLY not least. My husband. This month was rough with his class he is taking to get his masters in English, his grading and planning for teaching, and me working crazy-like on my business. We barely saw each other. But, he sweetly asked me to be patient because we will have two weeks of Christmas break where he has nothing to do (except, hopefully, get some house projects done!). And then, I swooned. I thank God for him daily!
